The back of the house was bumped out 6' to allow for the expanded kitchen. The bump-out was small but made all the difference in creating a functional kitchen. Windows surround 3 sides of the bump out and allow in lots of natural light. They also make for great views of the garden. Beige granite counter tops sit atop white paneled cabinets. The island is raised to 42" and easily accommodates the casual dining stools.
