The kitchen opened out from the sitting room so the wallpaper was a useful way of linking the two areas together. The same tiling in the bathroom was chosen for the kitchen and complemented the sisal flooring to help give structure to the flooring choices. The wallpaper had also been chosen to work colourwise with the pre-existing worktop, tiles and kitchen units.
