Historical references to architectural masterpieces by Lutyens, McKim Meade and White, and classic Connecticut colonial architecture give this house a charming presence with echoes of yesterday and large open spaces of today’s lifestyle. Our own custom details resonate throughout the house. Crown mouldings, fireplace surrounds, cabinetry, and stonework were all carefully researched and designed by Riverside Design and Build. Details such as an alabaster resin skylight, antiqued mirror, marble mosaic, and many references to Connecticut’s rich architectural history abound in this house, which won a prestigious HOBI award for Riverside Design and Build.
