NE Minneapolis Classic Kitchen Remodel
Having dreamed of remodeling their kitchen for years, the homeowners of this Columbia Heights home were ready to see their dream finally come true. The kitchen was previously enclosed off to the living/dining room with only one arched entrance. By taking out two existing walls the space was opened up to create a more functional space. The 1970’s yellow patterned floor tile was updated with Mannington Adura luxury vinyl tile, establishing the warmth in the room. The cherry Chelsea cabinets add to the warmth and help create much additional storage and counter space. The most unique feature in this kitchen is the floating island; which can be left against the wall when not in use, or moved around the kitchen as needed when prepping. The wall separating the kitchen from a spare room was taken out, creating a breakfast nook for the homeowners to enjoy for years to come.
