This nursery was a low-budget, DIY job. The idea was to create a space that both baby and momma could be comfortable in, and enjoy spending a lot of hours in (particularly in the first few months!). The theme started as "sophisticated gender neutral with subtle elements of whimsy and nature" - and I think we achieved that! The space was only 8' x 10', so storage solutions were key. The closet drawers and side table were both (very worn) antique pieces that were given a new life!

This boy's nursery is modern with clean lines and a masculine feel. We had to get creative with placing the furniture in this design because the room is triangular in shape. The color palette for this nursery is primarily white and gray. For a bit of contrast we added navy details throughout the room. The client fell in love with a super versatile crib in white with acrylic details. We opted for a custom dresser with a changing table tray to get the perfect fit and color. One of my favorite pieces in this space is the light-colored modern rocking chair, which is compact yet comfortable. We used mixed metallics in this space so the chrome base of the rocker ties in with gold detail on the side table. Even the cozy textured gray rug has metallic details. The storage bench with a surprise pop of color doubles as additional seating. We installed two white shelving units on both sides of the bench for a peaceful, symmetrical look and a display for decor and toys. The major statement penguin photograph was a favorite of my client! It makes for a playful artistic focal point and I love that is versatile enough to grow with the child and space.

This is a baby girl nursery completed in June 2021. The crib and recliner has to be repurposed from their previous baby boy nursery so pink and cream were added for a feminine touch and a touch of gold for a bit of glam. Clients wanted some greenery or something slightly tropical but as busy professionals were concerned about keeping real plants alive so a faux palm was added and these beautiful boho tropical palm leaves were artfully designed throughout the room to add that tropical boho vibe and add a bit of life to the space. The green boho leaf crib sheets also tied in the look into sleeping space. The palm leaf decals tied together the colors in the light grey recliner and the taupe wood crib for a cohesive look. Dresser was repurposed from a yellow-ish varnished wood and painted white and old Dresser hardware was swapped with new brushed brass knobs to finish the look. The entire room was completed for under $1500.

We were delighted to find out a previous client of ours was expecting another baby! We were tasked to design a nursery that was calming, masculine and playful. We incorporated a curated gallery wall, ceiling mural and LED baby name sign that cannot be forgotten! Within this small space, we had to include a crib, rocking chair, changing table and daybed. We were focused on making it functional for not only the baby but also for the parents. The fur rug is not only extremely comfortable, but also machine washable - that's a win-win! The layered jute rug underneath creates visual interest and texture. The striped ottoman, black daybed and leather drawer pulls bring the masculinity to the room. We had a custom LED baby name sign made for over the crib, which can be dimmed to any brightness and is safe for children (unlike neon). Baby Andres was born on May 11th. 2020.

This baby bedroom set features elegant curves, contemporary lines and a crisp white colorway. Round, over-sized knobs give it a playful look.

My daughter, Poppie Ainsley's room was inspired by the board game Candy Land. We began the process by painting the room a great Tiffany blue color and then candy striped the ceiling pink, red and white (talk about a tough task at seven months pregnant!). I then painted the Candy Land mural on one wall. We kept the cost of the room low by using a floor model "Toys R Us" Amy Coe Crib and Target Furniture. Little accents like polka dotted knobs made the pieces look way more expensive than they actually were! I painted a clearance mirror frame bright red and balanced the color of the room with the round, white rug. Finally candy was placed in glass jars through out the room. We love it! I hope you do as well :)
