Modern, Integrated, Open Plan Kitchen with Texture
The brief was to create a space that would provide the client with a ‘show stopping’ kitchen that combined the very best appliances with sleek in a sleek modern design with a ‘twist’.
The client also wanted a bright and airy space with plenty of preparation space and storage. It was also to incorporate a seated area to allow for social interactions, functional storage space and needed to link aesthetically and flow from one space to the next without defined borders yet remain well defined spaces.
Using all of Schmidt’s Perfect Fit approach to customize units without having to make the step to full bespoke allowed us to achieve a stunning design with some tricky material elements, incorporate an existing cooling wall and provide a great balance of material quality versus budget.
