Subway tile has made a huge resurgence - and made its way into the residential marketplace tenfold. It's classic, it's clean, and you can play with the installation method to get some creative results. The small footprint of this Master Bath is underplayed because of the vaulted ceiling and skylight, smart storage solutions, and trough sink...not to mention the uber cool rain-shower panel.

This apartment combination connected upper and lower floors of a TriBeCa loft duplex and retained the fabulous light and view along the Hudson River. In the upper floor, spaces for dining, relaxing and a luxurious master suite were carved out of open space. The lower level of this duplex includes new bedrooms oriented to preserve views of the Hudson River, a sauna, gym and office tucked behind the connecting stair’s volume. We also created a guest apartment with its own private entry, allowing the international family to host visitors while maintaining privacy. All upgrades of services and finishes were completed without disturbing original building details.

Shower and bathtub are cozy in this large wet room with brass shower fixtures and tub filler. A slim shower niche holds soaps and shampoos while the linear drain gives a clean and sleek look.

TWD remodeled a few aspects of this home in order for the homeowner to essentially have a mother-in-laws quarters in the home. This bathroom was turned into a Universal Design and safety conscious bathroom all to own, a custom niche was built into the wall to accommodate a washer/dryer for her independence, and a hall closet was converted into a guest bathroom.

Translucent panels were used to spread light into a small windowless bathroom.
Bathrooms By Oldham
Bathrooms by Oldham were engaged by Judith & Frank to redesign their main bathroom and their downstairs powder room.
We provided the upstairs bathroom with a new layout creating flow and functionality with a walk in shower. Custom joinery added the much needed storage and an in-wall cistern created more space.
In the powder room downstairs we offset a wall hung basin and in-wall cistern to create space in the compact room along with a custom cupboard above to create additional storage. Strip lighting on a sensor brings a soft ambience whilst being practical.
