Marco Island
Located in Marco Island, Florida, Henderson Court is a 1,780 sq. foot/ 3 bedroom/2 bath home that was in desperate need of an interior renovation. We wanted to create a modern, coastal home, so we updated the floor plan to an open concept to be more fluid. We added a 6 ft island with a 42” under-mount sink and a black matte pull down faucet. The cabinets are Chalet white with minimal beveling and the hardware is black matte bar pulls. Warm toe-kick lighting illuminates the floors adding ambience. The countertops are a medium veined Calcutta quartz that rolls into the backsplash. The same stone is used for the countertop and backsplash on the dry bar in the dining room. The range hood features a reclaimed wood trim, which was also used for floating shelves for the dry bar. Throughout the house except for in the bathrooms is a white oak, wide plank vinyl flooring with 8in. straight-edge base board giving it a modern, clean look. The walls are painted with a light, warm gray in an eggshell finish. Black framed windows and sliders are installed throughout the house to give a fresh vibe to the coastal style.
The master bath concept stays in line with the modern, bold look with a black and gray color palette sprinkling in different surfaces and finishes for contrast. The double vanity features chalet white cabinets, Calcutta quartz stone and faucets in a black Titanium finish. The flooring is 12x24” planks of charcoal glazed porcelain. The shower was expanded featuring a frameless glass enclosure with light gray marbled porcelain slabs for the walls, an illuminated shower niche, and black penny tile for the shower floor.
For the guest bathroom, a custom concrete vanity sink sits on a new beautiful quartz stone and a floating vanity. Light gray ceramic tiles in a herringbone pattern are featured in the shower.
