Everything Home
A neutral color palette punctuated by warm wood tones and large windows create a comfortable, natural environment that combines casual southern living with European coastal elegance. The 10-foot tall pocket doors leading to a covered porch were designed in collaboration with the architect for seamless indoor-outdoor living. Decorative house accents including stunning wallpapers, vintage tumbled bricks, and colorful walls create visual interest throughout the space. Beautiful fireplaces, luxury furnishings, statement lighting, comfortable furniture, and a fabulous basement entertainment area make this home a welcome place for relaxed, fun gatherings.

The formal living room in his house, with tall ceilings and a light, easy feel to it. The deep blue velvet couch grounds the eye and ties in the vast outside views. With a plush rug to keep it cozy, unique coffee table and fiddle leaf fig trees to give it that extra touch of life. A great place to cuddle up with the family by the stunning concrete fireplace.

They came from a home that was formal and rich in colour. They wanted this one to be more relaxed, light and airy and yet elegant. They appreciate the elements of surprise that takes their vision to the next level. Drawing on the traditional tastes of the client, Lumar delivered just that. The end result is a sophisticated and bright aesthetic perfect for lots of family gatherings.

The living opens out onto a cute courtyard and features a modern fireplace, double void to let natural light in. Floors are engineered timber and stairs are Tassie oak treads.
Jim Misner Light Designs
I was commissioned to design and fabricate custom lighting for this architect driven spec house in wine country. For the soaring living room I designed a floating pendant in a bronze finish with LED lighting sandwiched between it's layers of steel. Cyd Greer Photography.

The goal was to create a space that was warm and inviting yet cool and timeless. We did so using light fabrics, organic textures, and bursts of beautiful blues. The contrast between light and dark elements created the foundation for the design - using contemporary and traditional furnishings - while the rich royal blues make a showstopping presence.
