Lincoln Park Brick Row House
This bathroom is the guest bath in one of the famous brick row houses found in various parts of the Lincoln Park neighborhood in Chicago; it underwent a gut remodel. We removed the tub (which we are doing more and more in bathroom remodels) to install a shower with a shower seat (angled to allow access). This is a standard size bathroom in Chicago – not a lot of space – just enough room to be functional.
The countertops (sink, half-wall, and shower seat) are 2” thick pigmented and poured concrete. The sink is the Kohler Ladena – one of our favorites; the faucet is the Grohe Concetto. The toilet is the Toto Aquia, and the shower plumbing fixtures from the Grohe Movario collection.
