Our clients were transforming their home into a sociable space for their family of five, so they wanted their kitchen to fit seamlessly into this plan.
They socialise often so it was important to create a large open plan kitchen, and a showstopping island was a must! To create this contemporary kitchen we used the Soft Lack design from our German Nolte range, in the colour Graphite.
We chose two worksurfaces; Classic Quartz in Alaska Bianca and Caesarstone in Flannel Grey. The concrete effect wrap around worksurface on the island end creates a focal point from the garden and allows for some additional storage. The sleek black top-trim handles and Oak detailing add a real sense of luxury to this design.
Storage solutions such as the pantry-style larder and drawer units make the kitchen user-friendly for daily family life.

Stainless steal cabinetry, chairs and a cooker hood is matched with speckled white composite worktops.
This modern kitchen has a twist of traditional design through the instalment of a classic blue Aga.
The kitchen is also equipped with a Quooker tap providing instant sparkling, boiling and still water.
CCASA ArchitectsA small compact kitchen, was designed following the industrial look of the property. The worktops have concrete effect.
A big island was also included to allow for a bigger kitchen and also be an area of entertainment.
Simpson & VoyleThis kitchen showcases a harmonious blend of contemporary design and classic architecture. The room is well-lit, with natural light streaming in from a large window on the left. The ceiling features intricate crown molding, indicative of the building's Grade 2 listing and historical significance. Three elegant pendant lights with a brass finish and frosted glass shades hang above the central island, which is topped with a pristine white countertop. The island also incorporates a built-in sink and a cooktop, offering functionality within its streamlined form.
Two modern bar stools with curved silhouettes and dark wooden legs are positioned at the island, providing casual seating. The kitchen cabinetry is minimalistic, with handleless doors painted in a muted off-white tone that complements the overall neutral palette. A splashback of white marble adds a touch of luxury and ties in with the countertop. The flooring is laid in a herringbone pattern, adding texture and a classic touch to the space. A small selection of books and a vase with eucalyptus branches introduce a personal and lived-in feel to the otherwise minimalist kitchen.
piquA large open plan kitchen extension in Petts Wood that features a beautiful selection of materials and textures. The stained oak veneer tall units compliment the lacquered carbon grey panels on the kitchen island, which is wrapped in Black Beauty Sensa stone. The bespoke breakfast and bar area is beautifully finished with mitred stone drawer fronts and very practical pocket doors with recessed handles. The large kitchen island houses the Kohler Sink, Quooker Tap, Siemens Induction Hob and bar stool seating. The back of the island includes an unusual and striking glass panel with laminated brass mesh and sophisticated lighting.

"This grand detached period property in Teddington suffered from a lack of connectivity with the rear garden as well as a cramped kitchen and poorly lit living spaces.
Replacing the original modest gable end rear extension a collection of new intersecting volumes contain a generous open plan space accommodating a new kitchen, dining area and snug. The existing side return lean-to has also been replaced with a large utility space that boasts full height integrated storage and a new WC.
Taking every opportunity to harness natural light from its east facing orientation an assortment of glazing features including a clearstory window, glazed kitchen splashback, glazed corner window and two roof lights have been carefully positioned to ensure every elevation of the new extension is suitably equipped to capture daylight.
Careful detailing of the recycled bricks from the old extension with new European Larch cladding provide crisply defined apertures containing new expansive full height minimally-framed sliding doors opening up the rear elevation onto a new raised patio space."
