Isettes Project
The dining area of the kitchen was a bit small. The ceiling was opened up to create a tray effect and add some architectural interest. I love using textured wallcoverings and this texture really warms up the space. Since the ceiling is "the fifth wall" the metallic textured paint finish contrasts slightly with the walls to add more dimension. There wasn't enough room for a storage piece but the faux stone shelf serves as an anchor and a spot for a lamp and accessories.
