Home Theater
This is a little home theater I created in a basement space. It was very easy to do! I built a stand to house my large TV, mounted an extra long curtain rod onto the ceiling, hung some floor-length curtains on either side of the screen, faced a set of comfy reclining theater seats toward the screen, and voila! Instant home theater. The curtains hid the DVD player, cable box, wires and Wii equipment so it looks nice and neat. We also purchased and installed a decent surround sound system. We loved heading down to the basement to watch a movie at the end of the day, and it was a great space for entertaining as well. We had a bar table and comfy, padded leather barstools behind the theater seats for extra seating. Had a great many Super Bowl and karaoke parties in this spot, too!
