This basement lounge, called 'the cinema' by the clients, was already a dark room. The clients were very brave to accept my suggestion of black walls and silk velvet polypropalene carpet. The darkness was lifted by a pink and ivory marble effect mural on one wall behind the sofa. We also picked up on the pink inside a lightwell on the opposite wall. The Emerald velvet sofa and Art Deco styled furniture give this a glamorous cinema feel.
