Henley on Thames Rear Garden
After a recent kitchen extension which incorporated full width bi-folding doors to outside, the clients wanted to enhance the kitchen by creating a seamless transition to the patio, whilst landscaping the rest of the garden to create a more contemporary feel. Raised borders were constructed from block work and then rendered to create a modern look. Kota black setts were laid along the base of the wall to allow for easy lawn maintenance and a shed was constructed in the far bottom corner. Silver Travertine paving was used for the patio to match the kitchen floor and an Aco drain was installed across the threshold. To finish, the client laid the turf, planted bamboo and specimen plants within the borders and the contemporary look was complete.
