Grillo Outdoor Kitchen features on Grand Designs TV!
Quite apart from the fact that it featured on the Grand Designs Series, Clayworth House in Dunstable, Bedfordshire is a house with a story. To quote Grand Designs though: “Retired racehorse breeder John, 72, planned to build a hi-tech home that would ensure a more comfortable future for himself and his wife Helen, 65, a retired vet who had a stroke in 2018. The couple plan to sell their 17th-century farmhouse to fund a new wheelchair-accessible modernist home on a nearby plot, complete with wildlife garden, self-cleaning swimming pond and outdoor kitchen, with John’s son Ollie as project manager.”
The Grand Designs Series on Clayworth House aired on 5th October 2022 on Channel 4, and it’s well worth a watch! Meanwhile, we sat down with Ollie to discuss the project, the Grillo kitchen, Grand Designs, and the general future of outdoor living.
