Living Gardens Landscape DesignOur homeowners were looking for a garden where they could sit by the fire, grow vegetable and hear the sound of water. Their home was new construction in a modern farmhouse style. We used gravel and concrete as paving. Board formed concrete firepit keeps it feeling modern. The vegetable beds supply season vegetables and herbs.
Southview DesignThe client wanted patio space for a chair so she could relax in the sun when the mood struck. The only spot in the yard with any sun is near the fence gate. A full-range New York Bluestone patio was added using 30” x 30” slabs. These slabs are dry-set so leveling was a challenge.

Home & Garden Design, Atlanta - Danna Cain, ASLARaised beds hold organic garden soil mix that ranges from 8" - 2' deep. Here you see a late winter, very early spring view of this salad garden in metro Atlanta. Various types of lettuce, kale, parsley, and chives are accented by pansies which have edible flowers. After our frost date, most of this will be removed. Tomatoes will be planted in the center where the soil is deepest. Basil and mesclun will be planted around.

Tilly | Landscape DesignThis customer was looking to add privacy, use less water, include raised bed garden and fire pit...making it all more their style which was a blend between modern and farmhouse.
Wattlebird EcoWattlebird Eco was commissioned to furnish and style this rustic outdoor space for a family with two young children. The brief was to make it more habitable and functional for relaxing together as a family. With the client’s input, we chose to utilise existing outdoor wicker chairs that had weathered beautifully, and updating them with new cushions upholstered in quality outdoor fabric with green credentials. Locally sourced timber logs were brought in as stools and side tables and their flourishing little veggie cart was brought closer to the scene to get the kids more involved with harvesting their own leafy greens. A locally made hammock chair swings in the breeze inviting some quiet reading when time permits!

Garden Mates LLCPatent pending on these beautifully crafted, weathered Ipe raised planters!! Our staff carpenter designed them and constructed them on site with other crew members. We used washed pea stone for the paths. It is truely remarkable the amount of food that can be grown in a small amount of space.
