Franklin Street Residence: Evening
These 1920's glazed-brick walls from the earlier one-story house were in beautiful condition, and are now integrated into the new two-story design. Windows are thermally-broken clear-anodized aluminum frames. The large, multiple window is in the stairwell, and its lower section is translucent for privacy. The upper section is clear glass, for views to the sky. Vertical clear cedar siding runs continuously to the roof.
