Haleh chose mutable pieces and fabrics that engage and reflect the magical changes in light that so define the space. The tufted velvet Klismos chairs from Thomas Pheasant for Baker feature tone on tone velvets from Osborne and Little. The Seat is silk velvet. A cut velvet stripe used in the bolster and on the chair backs deepens texture. The hand-painted golden geode surface of the Barbara Barry coffee table shimmers in tones of champagne and gold, changing with the transit of the sun. A wool and silk blend Turkish Ikat rug wakes up the floor, adding contrast and pulling together colors throughout the room.
