This Dover Shores, Newport Beach home was built with a young hip Newport Beach family in mind. Bright and airy finishes were used throughout, with a modern twist. The palette is neutral with lots of geometric blacks, whites and grays. Cement tile, beautiful hardwood floors and natural stone were used throughout. The designer collaborated with the builder on all finishes and fixtures inside and out to create an inviting and impressive home. lane Dittoe

Our brief was to design, create and install a practical, contemporary family bathroom with some traditional and elegant injections of hotel chic. With a busy working lifestyle, the homeowners wanted a serene space to relax and unwind, and a bathroom that is suitable for use by all the family. We created a hotel style suite with roll top freestanding bath, handmade shaker wall panelling and beautiful encaustic tiles by Ca'Pietra.

Karissa Van Tassel Photography The lower level spa bathroom (off the home gym), features all the amenities for a relaxing escape! A large steam shower with a rain head and body sprays hits the spot. Pebbles on the floor offer a natural foot message. Dramatic details; glass wall tile, stone door hardware, wall mounted faucet, glass vessel sink, textured wallpaper, and the bubble ceiling fixture blend together for this striking oasis.

The kids bathroom was part of the addition along with two children's bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The black and white patterned flooring sets the tone, with a bold green tile in the bathtub/shower combination. A fun geometric black tile was used above each vanity, giving each child their own area. A veined gray quartz was used for the countertops and black matte fixtures compliments the look.

Look at this grey stained wood cabinet, you don't always have to go with a painted cabinet when you want that grey tone!
