Before remodeling began, this house was a flashback to the 1970’s both in design and furnishings. The client wanted to stay in the house, but needed vast updates. Initially, the client contacted Brackman Construction Company to begin the remodeling process, and at their recommendation, Kansas City Interior Designer, Arlene Ladegaard of Design Connection, Inc. was brought it on the project.
The accessories and furniture were carefully selected to reflect the new contemporary design of the home with the remodel. Many of the accessories that made the space perfect, were carefully selected by Arlene at High Point Furniture Market. The palette and the overall design reflect the client’s desire for a more sophisticated, yet masculine space.
Design Connection, Inc., an Interior Design Firm in Overland Park provided: space plans for the kitchen, master bathroom and bar, material selections for the contractor, furniture, window treatments, accessories and project management.
