Compact Wet Room

Compact wet room on the ground floor of a traditional country cottage. The clients didn't want a standard pretty cottage look, rather a transitional look between traditional and contemporary. I chose a variation on monotone, white units with the slightly darker Farrow & Ball Stone White for the walls and a slate effect porcelain tile in anthracite. The shower space is basic and simple, tiled to the ceiling on two sides with plain glass on the third. The units are off the peg from Burlington, likewise the taps and shower - I find them a good source as they look a lot more expensive than they actually are. The major user of this room would be the dog after his muddy walk, so the shower space was long and wide, accessed directly from the door. We have yet to add either a couple of glass shelves or a picture to the bare wall.
