Casa di Aria

This beautiful kitchen was designed by Casa di Aria in San Francisco, The 100-year old reclaimed barn wood flooring is from a farm in Kentucky and stops those who step into this wonderful urban farmhouse in their tracks. Drenched in character, this kitchen is simply gorgeous to look at. The classic Shaw Original Farmhouse sink sits next to the family room, When you wash dishes in this beautiful vessel, you are looking out towards a giant picture window towards an enormous California Redwood tree. The Calcutta Oro marble counter top is itself a work of art. The custom cabinetry has subtle variations in the details like chicken wire under the sink, flat drawers on the top and shaker style on the bottom with different knobs from Restoration Hardware. The glass-front doors in the upper cabinets reveal beautiful dishes with pale green and blue tones reflecting the colors of the soothing pastel by artist, Kelly McCarthy. The Walker Zanger glass backsplash tile looks like mother of pearl and reflects light and color all day long. The kitchen island was custom designed and built with reclaimed wood from Northern California. The library light is from Circa Lighting. The vintage hanging fruit basket is from the Alameda Flea Market. This kitchen is full of intricate details all of which combined make it a showcase room in this wonderful, eclectic home.
