Situated in an old neighborhood, the wooded site has a spectacular view of an adjacent ravine; however, that view was restricted by the close proximity of neighbors on two sides. Outdoor spaces and indoor views were carefully studied to ensure maximum view and privacy, while additional landscaping was designed to increase the sense of separation from nearby homes. The house, it's prominent roofs, and porches allude to traditional house forms of the region, while details were created with an eye toward clean, contemporary lines throughout.
