Instantly recognized as a more suitable location for the master bedroom, the screen porch was enclosed with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame views of the State Capitol and UT Tower. A pair of original concrete columns with unique capitals was integrated into the new design, while the tongue-and-groove black walnut ceiling nods to the existing ceilings throughout the home. A cozy window seat makes efficient use of an existing bay window, while new oak floors and a custom silk area rug add warmth to the space.
