The client wanted to create a quiet and calm getaway area in the Master Bedroom but at the same time have a touch of hotel glamour about it. The cabinetry in the walk-in wardrobe area was custom built and sprayed to specification. I use soft blue tones combined with Farrow and Balls Setting plaster to create an understated but elegant environment. Curtains and pillow are in a stunning Silk from Colefax and Fowler and the blinds and upholstered headboard are in a heavy cotton from Swaffer. Ample storage in this area is provided by using large bedside units and table lamps in a simple but elegant pattern with neutral shades provide soft lighting for reading in the master bedroom
