This kids bath has all the fun of a sunny day at the beach. In a contemporary way, the details in the room are nautical and beachy. The color of the walls are like a clear blue sky, the vanity lights look like vintage boat lights, the vanity top looks like sand, and the shower walls are meant to look like a sea shanty with weathered looking wood grained tile plank walls and a shower "window pane" cubby with hand painted tiles designed by Marcye that look like a view out to the beach. The floor is bleached pebbles with hand painted sea creature tiles placed randomly for the kids to find.

Charlie Allen Renovations, Inc.This formerly drab and ordinary space in an 1853 Greek Revival home became a fun bath area for the homeowner's two year old with the addition of blue and green mosaic tiles, a child-sized toilet, a larger bath tub, and pendant lighting. Clare Connolly Interior DesignThe clients were keen to keep upheaval to a minimum so we kept the existing layout, meaning there was no need to relocate the services and cutting down the time that the bathroom was out of action.
Underfloor heating was installed to free up wall space in this bijou bathroom, and plentiful bespoke and hidden storage was fitted to help the clients keep the space looking neat.
The clients had a selection of existing items they wanted to make use of, including a mirror and some offcuts from their kitchen worktop. We LOVE a no-waste challenge around here, so we had the mirror re-sprayed to match the lampshades, and had the offcuts re-worked into the surface and splash back of the vanity.

Tie-dye gray and black Noble Marble countertops add a boho touch to this modern bathroom. A bold and edgy wall mount faucet from Waterworks adds a modern touch. The shower has simple white ceramic subway tiles with a grid pattern and contrasting black grout, accented by a unique cross shaped shampoo niche. Black basalt chevron on the shower pan ties in the modern black, white and gray hexagon floor. Two round mirrors overlap for a designer look. This bathroom is finished off by knurled black CB2 hardware and 2 hanging pendants from Mitzi with gorgeous chrome dipped light bulbs.
