Un accorgimento particolare per il bastone da tenda, in smalto nero, che è stato realizzato su misura seguendo le dimensioni del profilo della vasca, tende in lino resinato. Le mensole in legno massello e il lavabo d’appoggio disegnato da Paola Navone in ceramica bianca, tutto Flaminia. La rubinetteria Bossini e lo scaldasalviette in nickel spazzolato. Accessori del bagno vintage, selezionati uno ad uno attraverso una ricerca per banchi, mercati artigianali e negozi di modernariato (una scoperta trovare nella bottega Iucu, negozio per rarità, le forme da scarpe adattate poi ad appendini). Non solo la parete vetrata introduce alla camera da letto ma anche il tema dell’acqua è predominante nelle due stanze. Una cassetta antica in legno massello assieme a un rubinetto invecchiato sono stati appesi alla parete frontale al letto creando voluta continuità con il bagno.

La tenda di pizzo incornicia la grande finestra. La dolcezza dei colori è contrastata dal mobiletto nero lucido realizzato su misura sul quale poggia il lavabo Montebianco.

whitlockinteriorsThe owners hired a contractor to remove a wall between the original bathroom and a bonus room to make a more open space. A custom shower was installed using faux marble subway tiles. The shower also has double ceiling shower heads and a glass enclosure. To take advantage of the 10 ft. ceilings, two beveled glass mirrors were added above the vanity. The vanity was an antique piece that was purchased specifically for the space, and retrofitted with plumbing and fixtures. A period style bathtub and fixtures were installed in front of the large double window. Again, faux wood blinds were installed, and dark gray silk taffeta drapes were hung to give this bathroom a regal feel.
