Borth - Wilson Plumbing & Bathroom RemodelingThis space was transformed from a dressing room until a full master bathroom. Painted emerald maple cabinets with brushed bronze hardware flanks wall to wall on one side of the space with a large shower stall on the other. The Onyx Collection shower stall in wavy wall tile pattern allows for an easy, no maintenance shower. Delta Trinsic Collection faucet line through-out in brushed bronze allows for a pop of color that compliments the other surrounds.
Landis Architects | BuildersOur clients wanted a master bath connected to their bedroom. We transformed the adjacent sunroom into an elegant and warm master bath that reflects their passion for midcentury design. The design started with the walnut double vanity the clients selected in the mid-century style. We built on that style with classic black and white tile. We built that ledge behind the vanity so we could run plumbing and insulate around the pipes as it is an exterior wall. We could have built out that full wall but chose a knee wall so the client would have a ledge for additional storage. The wall-mounted faucets are set in the knee wall.

The white subway tile and black accent strips harken back to classic bath designs, while the large scale black hex tiles and penny tiles on the floor give a modern nod to classic 1' hex tiles. The new mud-set shower was installed in place of an existing clawfoot tub. The vanity and plumbing fixtures provide clean lines, and the wood countertop and open shelving bring some warmth to the space.
