My Clients wanted to update their second-floor bathroom, original to the house they'd bought over thirty years ago. The renewed space was designed with a transitional style in mind, paying close attention to simplicity and clean lines. This north-facing room required a bright palette. We selected Benjamin Moore paint in Whisper Violet, soft browns and greys, and luminous white. As an added layer of luxury, my Clients had radiant floor heating installed. Ample recessed lighting and a vanity light fixture with a sleek profile unsure plenty of functional and stylish light!

Historically regarded as ‘The Purple House,’ a place where musicians have come and gone, we restored this 1910 historical building in East Nashville to become a boutique bed and breakfast. Developed by native Texans, the home is dubbed The Texas Consulate, with a soft spot for Texans. Much of the original structure and details remain, including the wood flooring, trim and casing, architectural niches, fireplaces and tile, brick chimneys, doors and hardware, cast iron tubs, and other special trinkets. We suggested minimal architectural interventions to accommodate the adaptation, in addition to curating hand-selected furniture, fixtures, and objects that celebrate the building’s art deco character.

This 1968 single story bungalow had great bones but serious design and storage issues. The kitchen had a drop ceiling and a door that lead into the guest bedroom. The peninsula and cabinet overhang made the kitchen feel small and crowded. A few too many DIY projects made for a mess of style! The bathrooms had never been updated, the closets were in the wrong spots and all the lighting fixtures were dated. A face lift was in order!
