We were asked to create a master bathroom in a family home in St John’s Wood which involved the complete demolition of the old bathroom, re-enforcement of the bathroom floor as well as replumbing and rewiring. The client wanted to create a luxurious master bathroom suite around a show stopping piece of art. We designed a bespoke mosaic for the bathroom’s former chimney breast – a large scale soft pink rose – which built the starting point for the scheme. A combination of marble tiles and slabs as well as brass fittings were then chosen to compliment the colours of the mosaic. We also designed a custom vanity unit and a cupboard for towels and bed linen as well as a small staircase from the dressing room into the bathroom. Beautiful wall lights and recessed spot lights add elegant finishing touches which elevate the scheme further.

It was a fun remodel. We started with a blank canvas and went through several designs until the homeowner decided. We all agreed, it was the perfect design. We removed the old shower and gave the owner a spa-like seating area.
We installed a Steamer in the shower, with a marble slab bench seat. We installed a Newport shower valve with a handheld sprayer. Four small LED lights surrounding a 24" Rain-Shower in the ceiling. We installed two top-mounted sink-bowls, with wall-mounted faucets.

This beautifully designed master bath features white inset Wood-Mode cabinetry with bow front sink cabinets. The tall linen cabinet and glass front counter-top towers provide ample storage opportunities while reflecting light back into the room.

The master bath cabinet layout was inspired by the high ceilings and the functionality of a master bath. Having a large tower added extra storage and added to the eloquent space with its size. The quartz countertops created a clean look in the dark gray. The large shower tiles added texture with the veining. The shower niches were a great spot to add more character and whimsy to the white and gray shower.

This master bath shower has 12 x 24 marble tiles on the wall with pebble tile floors and wood plank looking porcelain tiles installed in a herringbone pattern. The oil rubbed bronze shower fixtures match the vanity cabinet pulls, tub faucet, and sink faucets. The shower niche has three slab shelves with 1 inch marble hex tiles in the back. The white, shaker style vanity cabinet has a bevel detail in the drawers and door panels and is topped with Pental Quarts Cinza countertops with an Ogee edge. Under-cabinet lighting comes on with a motion sensor when someone enters the bathroom.
