1920s house in Cambridgeshire doubles in size

©Yasmin Chopin. We aimed to keep the traditional English architectural style at the entrance to the property and the new putty coloured door is a big improvement on the old; the colour scheme is fresh and clean with rendered external walls painted white. Since we were going to have a new front door I wanted to accentuate the curve of the archway. The glazed round window sits nicely in the space and makes for a happy and welcoming scene.
