The fair-skinned among us really like the idea of covered, outdoor spaces. Any outdoor living space for our new build will require screens - the mosquitoes are vicious near that creek!
Floating shelves are very appealing. Could probably make some of these from the walnut planks I have. U-shaped kitchen with one angle of entry/exit is not as appealing as a walk through...although this looks to have enough space for circulation.

Convertible bed slides under the office space in sections to create a couch. Small table slides out to create a dining space. like the slide out bins under the bed - avoiding the mechanics of drawers but still using the space efficiently for storage
