This is a wonderful piece of Marble and it's called Calacatta. Many people confuse this Italian marble with Carrara marble because of the white and grey veining. Calacatta is rarer than carrara and therefore considered a luxury stone.
this is a slab of calacatta marble. The marble slab is 2 centimetres thick and is hung by a very simple so-called 'male-female' system of wood clips on the back of the stone. Your qualified stone fabricator knows how to do this. The stone manufacturer we use is Moscone Marble and Tile

Back painted means that you pick the paint colour you want to show through the glass and they will pain the back of the glass before installing it on your wall. If wanting a white colour we believe using sapphire glass is the best since it is the whitest glass on the market and shows less of the natural green tint that glass has.
