Help! Footprints on wood floor!

It’s exactly the opposite. Oil finishes have the most issue with oily footprints. And with maintenance. UV cured poly finishes in a sheen around a 15-20 “soft glow” give a less glossy appearance, and great durability, with easy care. Anything less than a 15 shows everything, no matter what. 30-40 for a satin finish is also a good choice. Anything under 70 is really OK to live with. Above 70 gets to be more of a pain.

I'm in the same predicament. I love the sample from the store but the pictures online look like a busy checkboard quilt. I've also read some horrible reviews online about Palmetto Road floors pealing and needing to be replaced after a year or two. I really would appreciate some more reviews and pictures as well.

Check out Palmetto Road's Facebook page photos. They have some actual home installation photos which could give you an idea. Our floor guy told us that Palmetto Road is a "broker" of sorts using other company's products. So just like with any floor, you would look at the thickness and wear layer to determine quality. Some of their products are superior to others.
