Island. Good way to in corporate cabinetry style. Would want a bit of an overhang on one side and space above the floor so it doesn’t look so blocky.

Cabinet layout and multi purpose island. Love the splash back and counters

Q

Cabinets, and the way the sink fits with the counter top. Don't like the tile.

I like the reclaimed feel of this butcher block as an idea for the island. I would set it on a base with legs, and slightly deeper drawers in the base. Add marble insert for baking. Hate the rest of the kitchen

Like this butcher block type island-- on legs so it's not a huge mass in the middle of the room. Drawers for extra storage. Would add a marble insert at one end for baking.

Q

Love how the stone in this picture appears in more than one place. Looks great with the wood floor. Not into a solid kitchen island-- we would need a more table style island with drawers

Q

Photo

like the use of the brick wall on this one-- i don't like how square these cabinets look. proportionally I would have preferred them to go higher up the wall

contrast of materials and colors

integrated stove exhaust and symmetrical cabinets. Love the way the stove is framed out.

Q

good use of shelves. like the continuation of the line from the cabinets up the wall. not a fan of the hardware

Q

backsplash vs. cabinets

Q

love low profile of the cabinet doors, and the different depths to the cabinetry. Hutch on the left of the photo is a good design for the built ins in the family room— love the stepped back top half. Counter material would go between the two halves.

cabinetry layout + door detail-- simple and airy

old fashioned farmhouse vs. modern simplicity + use of height. Also love the paint effect

Q

Photo

traditional simplicity, low profile (not crazy about the decorative pediment)

seamless backsplash + counter + shelf (too modern overall, but love the simplicity)
