Tiny corner seating - end of coffee bar? Reading nook? Just makes me think that if someone is sick on the couch, there is not another comfortable place to sit in the entire downstairs. Need to reorient the living room to include a couple cozy chairs, or add in cozy seating somehow with the kitchen expansion.

Island style...handy large drawers. I like that it is not a fixed piece. Would need to be hidden plumbing/connections. Bottom shelve may be hard to keep clean. Tough reach for dusting.
