This looks Japanese minimalist to me. A potential, interesting direction for us to go in. These tiles should be much cheaper/low maintenance than the fancy clay tiles, I think?

I imagine a basic, affordable, low maintenance charcoal gray tile like this in the bathroooms (if it works), as well as the mudroom and laundry room?
