Thank you for your question. We develop custom colors and custom processes specific to
the wood species, exterior environment and other factors. Samples are provided
for review by the owner, contractor and installer using the wood finish samples, window
cladding samples, stone sample and roofing elements
samples.
For this project we used rough cypress siding and then applied Cabot Exterior Semi-transparent Oil Stain in Burnt Hickory. The trim is dressed cypress and has Cabot O.V.T. Solid Color Stain in a mix of (3) parts Burnt Hickory, (1) part Bark and (1) part Black. Hope this helps. Good luck with your project!
