Engaging a builder to undertake a renovation often holds people up for months (even years!!).
With this in mind, there are a number articles and tools to help you along the learning curve. (See below).
The single most important thing for you to do is to pay a registered building designer (or architect) to generate your plans & specifications.
Without this, you have nothing for builders to quote against and asking for trouble (expensive trouble).
