Here is an option for island venting if you don't want to go with a backdraft unit. Yes we like this too if it could be done, how does that work with a room above the kitchen?

Love the exposed wood on the ceiling, we could do this in your kitchen and carry it into the conservatory Not so sure about this, prefer something lighter in the kitchen we think

Interesting use of full height roll outs for a pantry, could do this in your existing pantry closet so you don't waste space with allowing walkable space into the pantry. This is GREAT and good to look at using it in our space. Need room for bigger things though like vacuum cleaner and brooms or make a broom cupboard for that stuff?

Great example of multi species of material- Laquer finished painted lowers and then mahogany veneer full height cabinets, similar layout to existing space but much more open - dont really like all the open shelving.

Double deep draws on the face but you have two drawers integrated so you aren't loosing space to unused height within the drawers. We love this, yes!

Contemporary kitchen design w/ a waterfall edge island Dont need waterfall all the way down, though a bit could be nice. I think we said we would do that on the side facing into the sunroom/conservatory.

Simplistic but interesting use of a shadow mural of the tree Not too crazy about this graphic and I dont like the idea of the toilet tank hidden in the wall, maybe had too many issues with needing access.
