This kitchen looks to have nearly the same set up as ours, but on the wall adjacent to the dining room the cabinets aren't as deep, which maybe allowed for them to extend the wall adjacent to the fridge.
Double island, not sure how I feel about this.
Kind of like this setup, cooktop would have to move to island

Do you like the island or the arrangement of appliances? I thought it was a good example of the double ovens and a visual for a narrow countertop, though I don't like the way it was done.
perfect image of what we have in mind for the corner next to the frig! That's what I was thinking. ;) Except I still have appliances that would need a home, though most of those truly can be unplugged and stored.
Interesting storage options, I like to think that drawers and pull out cabinets offer better storage.

Do you like the idea of a hood like this over the island above the cooktop? This kitchen has a footprint a lot like ours which made it interesting to me. I'd vote for no hood as an attempt to keep headroom clear and maybe give the illusion of a higher ceiling.
