@Lauren Alexander did you ever find a solution to your stone? I am having the same issue with a mont blanc quartzite.

@Olychick, if you want to read another book that has a compilation of a dictionary theme, try The Great Passageby Shion Miura. It is one of my favorite books.

I enjoyed reading your mid-trip report! A change of scenery and pace sounds about perfect just now! Enjoy the ride :)

THanks, Nicole. One teaspoon of powdered or one teaspoon of liquid - are they equivalent? Are there any downsides?

The “layout” obsession that goes on here is imo utterly ridiculous. And especially so when you take into consideration that ultimately there is no perfect layout... because different layouts work for different people. Plus, some people do not need everything to be ”perfect” in order to live. And it’s true... so often that is what people are told when they come here - that their layout is all messed up. Oftentimes, the OP doesn’t have a clue that they have so many ”problems,” until they show up here.

I stopped in at the store for some sort cream, bought a cute flower arrangement for the table, and something for supper tonight. No one wants to cook! In the way home I was going over the menu and realized I have only one vegetable and should have gotten some carrots for a colorful side! Well, I'll see how I feel about it in the morning. Our kitchen is not designed to have two people cooking at the same time. So anything I'm going to make really needs to be done before DH gets started.
