how do you hang fan? How much do they bunch up? You would have to have beams running between, which is on the plan. They bunch up more than what's shown in the back of the picture. They go almost flat.

retractable awning - does that make sense for us? You wouldn't be able to have a fan with this scenario.

Are these like levelers blinds? Can you put a fan on them? They're kind of like large blinds. There would have to be a beam or roofing to support the fan.
