I hired an architect and sent him this picture and said this is what i want to do on my ranch house. he argued about cost of construction, material costs, etc, etc... now that i'm in construction i am so angry and dissappointed that i listened to him. this would have been so much better, cheaper, faster to build, more usable... why why why? i dreamed of this for months then bought his excuses why it wouldnt work. now that i'm smarter in methods and material costs... dissapointed in my tiny complicated porch with dumb rooflines... loss of interior light and flow... aaaarggggg why?
