mud hall MUST have a landing station for the pile of mail/papers which don't make it to Hubby's desk. outlet for phone charger. drawer for notepad is good idea.

mud room can be a wide hall into house, but it must have landing spot which the Sage hubby will use, storage for jackets and shoes, a laundry basket for dirty clothes which should not come all the way through the house, the pets' feeding supplies and kitties' litter box. space needs to be welcoming and functional and keep the mess out of my kitchen.
