Dark Trim around windows and white baseboards
White baseboards but the surronding to the room opening left in wood stain finish.
Just something to think about---paint trim around windows but leave the window trim stained???

White on stairway, the crown molding and then dark trim
Trim and walls, ceiling same colour then door frame another colour.
Long bean in ceiling with trim work, colour of cabinets light and then dark island. Like the thickness of island counter top. Also like the floor.
Trim one colour and then detail trim and wall another colour.
