Once we move the shed after the barn is built, a few raised garden beds. Doesn't have to be as fancy--use beams, gravel.

Walkway, use of groundcover: pachysandra or Japanese spurge. Would like to do a walkway between future porch and NE side of house , with a simple ground cover like this before the raised planting area. In-between fire pit area and porch.

Another stone path. Astilbe as an accent/cluster plant.

Pavers in set to shed in traffic area.

Use of pavers in firepit area! Would also like a "sidewalk" path from pump station to shed using the same concept. Also like the fountain.

Line the edges of the drive with river rock? Just another thing to have to weed?

Q

Ornamental trees: Redbuds, Dogwoods, Cherries. Also need shade tree--would Bradford Pear stand up to wind in our area?

Q

Hmm. Make use of the huge rock pile to create a cairn off to the SW of the property? Could be fun. (and laborious).

Q

Crepe myrtle--ground cover.

Transition between firepit/playground area and lawn.

Grasses, Irises, rocks, maybe a fountain. Ornamental trees.
