Gorgeous - window raised to cornice with in-fill panel at base; railing; greenery. Really like this

Q

Like much about this: neutral colour scheme with splashes of colour; chez lounge placement and beige and blue (throw) colour; orange lounge colour; bi-fold doors to patio and view, wooden floors; wall colour (hue) - will need to avoid too much white, so colour walls might be the way to go (although we will have lots of glass doors and windows; and quite an eclectic range of furnishings and art etc.

'Or use a pipe railing that just barely touches the house to maintain an open and nautical feel.' Open and nautical feel - would suit bushfire consideration

Q

'The main, linear and vaulted space extends to the outdoors while the bed is tucked safely off to the side.' Something very appealing about this design i.e. light and open-ness to the outside and elements while feeling secure in bed to the side of the doors

Q

Use a railing that repeats the window design to the outside edge.

Q

'Or use a railing that provides some definition and boundary to the space so the edges are clear.'

Q

Photo

'Use a railing that all but disappears so the view when lying in bed is unobstructed.'
