Note: Don't be afraid to experiment. There are several different pieces here, but this is a very nice grouping. Interesting how the items against the windows hit right at the height of the horizontal divider on the window. Also, the slight angles of the taller, outer chairs just pulls everyone into the conversation. Smaller toss pillows on larger chairs, and the large pillow on the couch.

Note how different types of seating pieces are used here, and how nicely the eclectic accent pieces blend. A bit of elegance but still somewhat relaxed for the beachfront.

No artwork? This frame collage is a wonderful alternative. BUT hang with 3M strips or deco putty . . . NO NAILS (esp. in an apartment)!

I like the choice to use just one light and table source for these beds. It's a small room and would be uncomfortably crowded with two of each.

NOTE how the bench shape fits right in with the headboard shape. Much more interesting than just a plain squared off bendh style would be.

Sometimes just a small amount of something can make a BIG difference. The greens and the brown trim pulls the eye up to the headboard and on up to the painting. VERY nice.

What do you do with that fake fireplace and a big empty wall? How about shelves and window seats. Sure works well here!

ODD WINDOWS. When you have oddities in a room, such as these uniquely positioned windows, don't panic . . . have fun with it. Experiment.

Don't have a window but want a window seat? Here you go. This is a wonderful use of a small indention of space. You get seating, light and storage. The bench could accommodate even more storage if you desired.

This is a beautiful space, as far as the design takes it. Needs just a bit more of something . . . if not full draperies, possibly a colorfully patterned valance? What about a long but skinny rolled pillow at the back of the couch cushions?

Great ways to work with an open floor plan. A tone-on-tone, patterned paper distinguishes between dining and living areas, but is neutral and in same color range. Two simple aqua pieces, the rung and the container, define the living room. NOTE: there are tufts of pink threading in the rug that make the toss pillows work. VERY NICE.
